Our highly experienced personal trainers are here to help you achieve your personal fitness goals. They'll work with you one-on-one, with a friend or two, or in small groups for single or multiple training sessions. The Private Training Studio features state-of-the-art equipment and work out tools for effective, results-oriented core and functional training.

Who are the Trainers?



 

Jon Lucchesi

Jon Lucchesi, a runner, triathlete and former member of the 2001 University of Oregon Pac-10 Championship Football Team, has an infectious enthusiasm for fitness. Working with some of the top minds in strength and conditioning on the University of Oregon football field helped to shape his approach to fitness that he uses today.

Looking for a post-collegiate challenge, Jon signed up for his first triathlon and subsequently his first 5k. Since then, he has run more endurance events than you can shake a stick at, from 5k runs to half-ironman distance triathlons. Jon left the 9-5 world to share his passion for fitness and sports with the masses.

Jon specializes in run coaching, sports conditioning and general fitness. He is a certified trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a certified run coach with USA Track and Field, and a certified TRX instructor. He believes that everyone is an athlete and that our mental limitations are stronger than our physical ones.

George Rojas

For the last 27 years, George Rojas has led the masses through group fitness classes and personal coaching and training. Teaching at a variety of clubs throughout the Bay Area, George has positively impacted the lives of those who share in his quest toward optimal health and increased levels of fitness. He is able to gauge his participants and clients’ needs through active communication and keep them on track through mutual accountability. He has a true passion for health and fitness!

George studied Athletic Training at Cal State East Bay, is certified through AFAA, and is currently preparing for NASM certification. He is able to teach and train people of all ages and fitness levels, specializing in working with post-rehab individuals. The prevailing theme to his training technique is functional training with an emphasis on the NASM OPT Model, following stability, strength, and power.

Kandee Shuken

Wellness Director Kandee Shuken brings 22 years of experience in the fitness industry to The Studio. She has worked in corporate and commercial wellness, nutrition counseling, and as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Kandee enjoys sharing her passion for wellness with The Studio's members. She believes moderation and knowing the best balance for your body are the keys to success in your journey to optimal health and wellness.
